Architectural Steel that is 3/16″ thick, up to 36″ in diameter, and backed by 10 years of warranty. This fire ring is an impressive unit! Heavy and built to last!
This steel is left uncoated (it is raw)! This steel is normally used in long-lasting projects like bridges and skyscraper facades where, left in the elements, a rust-colored patina forms and protects it from further corrosion!
The notches on the top are for resting hotdog roasting sticks so you can spin them like a rotisserie for a perfect cooking experience! No chance of the stick rolling off the edge and putting your hotdogs in the dirt!
Add on the swing-away grate and you have a fully functional outdoor cooking center!
All components are left bare, so rust will form, but due to the quality of the steel, this should not compromise longevity!
The cheap pits at Canadian Tire and elsewhere are painted, but the paint burns off and they rust out in just a few years! No need to worry about that here!
