Standoffs hold your sign off the wall instead of flat against it. That gives the piece some depth and shadow, and it keeps water and moisture from sitting in the gap between the sign and the siding.
This listing is a set of 2, which is what most of our signs need. Choose black or silver. If your sign needs more than two, raise the quantity and we will send them out together with the order.
Every sign we build is cut from 12-gauge steel, which is 3mm thick. Most online sign shops use 14 or 16-gauge, roughly half the thickness. Ours gets powder-coated after cutting, and that finish is rated around 20 years in direct sun before it needs redoing. Standoffs are the hardware that keeps all that steel sitting properly on your wall.

How long until I get my sign?
For custom work you will have a design proof to review within 3 days. Once you approve it, the sign takes about 3 to 4 weeks to reach your door, roughly 2 weeks in production plus about a week in transit, and a week longer in busy season. If you need it by a holiday or a specific date, tell us and we will let you know what is possible.
What sizes can you make?
We build to your size. Whether it is a small house number or a large sign for the shop or the gate, tell us the dimensions and we will design around them. No project is too big or too small.
Will it hold up outside?
Yes. Our signs are cut from 12-gauge steel, which is noticeably sturdier than the thinner 14-gauge most online stores use, then powder-coated. Powder-coated steel can last around 20 years in direct sun before it needs redoing.
