8 in Bold Metal House Numbers, Standoff Mount
These house numbers stand 8 inches tall and run wider than most numbers you will find online, so your address reads from the street instead of from the front step.
The standoff mounts hold each number off the wall about an inch. That gap throws a shadow behind the number and makes it far easier to read in low light. Order anywhere from one to six numbers depending on your address. There is a photo in the gallery with rough spacing so you can see how much wall you need for a vertical or horizontal layout.
Every piece is cut from 12-gauge steel, which is 3mm thick. Most online sign shops use 14 or 16-gauge, roughly half the thickness. Ours gets powder-coated after cutting, and that finish is rated around 20 years in direct sun before it needs redoing.
How to order: choose how many numbers you need, type in the numbers themselves, pick your powder-coat colour, pick a colour for the standoffs, and add any notes. Figure 3 to 4 weeks to your door: about two weeks in production, a week longer if we are in the busy season, then about a week for shipping depending on where you live. If you need them sooner, say so in the notes and we will tell you what is doable.

How long until I get my sign?
For custom work you will have a design proof to review within 3 days. Once you approve it, the sign takes about 3 to 4 weeks to reach your door, roughly 2 weeks in production plus about a week in transit, and a week longer in busy season. If you need it by a holiday or a specific date, tell us and we will let you know what is possible.
What sizes can you make?
We build to your size. Whether it is a small house number or a large sign for the shop or the gate, tell us the dimensions and we will design around them. No project is too big or too small.
Will it hold up outside?
Yes. Our signs are cut from 12-gauge steel, which is noticeably sturdier than the thinner 14-gauge most online stores use, then powder-coated. Powder-coated steel can last around 20 years in direct sun before it needs redoing.
