A ship's wheel cut from steel, spokes and all, for the wall of the cottage, the boathouse, or a hallway that needs something on it.
One size, 20 inches outside to outside. Nothing to personalize, so choose the colour you want it coated in and it goes into the queue.
Every piece is cut from 12-gauge steel, which is 3mm thick. Most online sign shops use 14 or 16-gauge, roughly half the thickness. Ours gets powder-coated after cutting, and that finish is rated around 20 years in direct sun before it needs redoing.
Nautical decor at the big-box store is usually resin made to look like rope and timber, and it chips the first time it comes off the hook. This is solid steel with a finish baked onto it, so it can hang on a covered porch or a dock house wall.

How long until I get my sign?
For custom work you will have a design proof to review within 3 days. Once you approve it, the sign takes about 3 to 4 weeks to reach your door, roughly 2 weeks in production plus about a week in transit, and a week longer in busy season. If you need it by a holiday or a specific date, tell us and we will let you know what is possible.
What sizes can you make?
We build to your size. Whether it is a small house number or a large sign for the shop or the gate, tell us the dimensions and we will design around them. No project is too big or too small.
Will it hold up outside?
Yes. Our signs are cut from 12-gauge steel, which is noticeably sturdier than the thinner 14-gauge most online stores use, then powder-coated. Powder-coated steel can last around 20 years in direct sun before it needs redoing.
