Large Octagon Steel Fire Pit

The biggest fire pit in the lineup, built for the nights when everybody's over. This octagon measures a full 37 inches across, cut from heavy 12-gauge steel and made to anchor the backyard, the cottage, or the yard out at the farm for years.

Eight flat panels give you room to circle chairs all the way around, and each one is cut with a deer-and-antler design that lights up once the fire's going. After dark it throws that pattern out across the yard.

Add the top grill plate when you want to cook for the group. It drops on as a full eight-sided cooking surface with a round center opening for a pot or a set of skewers, plus handles around the edge for lifting it clear to feed the fire.

For a pit this size, it packs down small. The panels slot together in a couple of minutes with no tools and come apart just as fast, so it stores flat over winter instead of taking up half the shed. No bolts to lose, no hardware to rust out.

We use a full 3mm of steel, heavier than the 14-gauge a lot of online fire pits ship you. On a pit this wide that weight matters, keeping it flat and true instead of warping after a few hot burns, and the powder coat holds its finish season after season.
