Metal Garden Gnome Yard Stake
A gnome for the flower bed that comes through a Manitoba winter looking the same as it did in June. The resin ones from the garden centre fade and crack. This one is steel.
Every gnome is cut with a flower theme: daisies through the tall pointed hat, a big friendly beard, and details that change by design, like a butterfly resting on the brim or a bloom tucked in hand. Five to choose from: Butterfly Hat, Striped Nightcap, Flower in Hand, Flowered Cap, and Girl Gnome. Each one stands about 21 inches tall and 6 inches wide, and runs about 27 inches with the stake, which pushes straight into a bed, along the walk, or into a pot by the door.
Every piece is cut from 12-gauge steel, which is 3mm thick. Most online sign shops use 14 or 16-gauge, roughly half the thickness. Ours gets powder-coated after cutting, and that finish is rated around 20 years in direct sun before it needs redoing.
Cheap yard stakes rust at the ground line and streak the stem by the second season. The powder coat here is the same finish that goes on our signs.
We have been building these in Manitoba since 2019. Shipping is free anywhere in Canada, and we ship to the United States too, with the rate calculated at checkout.
Pick the gnome you like, or stand a few of them together in the same bed.

Common questions
How long until I get my sign?
For custom work you will have a design proof to review within 3 days. Once you approve it, the sign takes about 3 to 4 weeks to reach your door, roughly 2 weeks in production plus about a week in transit, and a week longer in busy season. If you need it by a holiday or a specific date, tell us and we will let you know what is possible.
What sizes can you make?
We build to your size. Whether it is a small house number or a large sign for the shop or the gate, tell us the dimensions and we will design around them. No project is too big or too small.
Will it hold up outside?
Yes. Our signs are cut from 12-gauge steel, which is noticeably sturdier than the thinner 14-gauge most online stores use, then powder-coated. Powder-coated steel can last around 20 years in direct sun before it needs redoing.
Where do you ship, and what does it cost?
Shipping is free across Canada.
Not quite what you need?
Tell us your size, your wording, or your own idea. We design it, you approve a proof, then you pay. Free shipping across Canada.
