Crossed paddles over your family name, hung at the turn off the lake road or beside the cottage door.
One size, 30 inches wide by 20 inches tall. Spell the name however the family actually says it, playful spellings included, and put that in the text box and the notes. Shorter words get expanded to fill more of the sign, and longer ones get cut smaller so everything fits.
The font preview is a guide only. Our team sizes the real lettering to the sign once the order is in, so the finished proportions shift a little from what the preview shows.
Every piece is cut from 12-gauge steel, which is 3mm thick. Most online sign shops use 14 or 16-gauge, roughly half the thickness. Ours gets powder-coated after cutting, and that finish is rated around 20 years in direct sun before it needs redoing.
A box-store cottage sign costs less and fades out in two summers. This one is 3mm steel under a powder coat, and it will still read clean when the kids are bringing their own kids up to the lake.

How long until I get my sign?
For custom work you will have a design proof to review within 1 to 2 business days. Once you approve it, we cut and paint within 10 to 14 business days and then ship it out. If you need it by a holiday or a specific date, tell us and we will let you know what is possible.
What sizes can you make?
We build to your size. Whether it is a small house number or a large sign for the shop or the gate, tell us the dimensions and we will design around them. No project is too big or too small.
Will it hold up outside?
Yes. Our signs are cut from 12-gauge steel, which is noticeably sturdier than the thinner 14-gauge most online stores use, then powder-coated. Powder-coated steel can last around 20 years in direct sun before it needs redoing.
