Pentagon Metal Fire Pit

A five-sided fire pit built for the cook as much as the crowd. It's cut from heavy 12-gauge steel and made to sit out through the seasons at the cottage, the cabin, or the middle of the backyard.

The pentagon shape gives you five flat panels, each one cut with a flame design that lights up once the fire is going. It's a different look than the usual round pit, and after dark it throws that pattern out across the yard.

The top grill plate is where this one earns its keep. Lay it on and you've got a full cooking surface with a round center opening for a pot, a kettle, or a set of skewers, plus handles at every side so you can lift it clear to feed the fire. Take it off and it's a straight fire pit for the evening.

The panels slot together in a couple of minutes with no tools and break down just as fast, so it stores flat over winter and loads easy when you're headed out to the lake. No bolts to lose, no hardware to rust out.

We use a full 3mm of steel, heavier than the 14-gauge a lot of online fire pits ship you. That weight is what keeps it flat and true instead of warping after a few hot burns, and the powder coat holds its finish season after season.

It stands about 17 inches high and measures 28.3 inches across, roomy enough for a real fire with space to cook. Full dimensions are in the product photos.
