Square Steel Fire Pit

A square fire pit that puts your evenings back outside. Cut from heavy 12-gauge steel, this one is built to sit at the center of the backyard, the cottage deck, or out at the lake for years.

Each side panel is cut with a deer-and-antler design that lights up once the fire gets going. After dark, the flames throw that pattern out across the patio, so the pit looks as good lit as it does sitting empty.

The whole thing packs flat. The panels slot together in a couple of minutes with no tools, and they come apart just as fast when you want to store it for winter or toss it in the truck for a weekend away. No bolts to lose, no hardware to rust out.

Want to cook over the coals? Add the top grill plate. It drops right on, with a round center opening for a pot or a set of skewers and two handles for lifting it clear when you're feeding the fire.

We use 12-gauge steel, a full 3mm thick, where a lot of online fire pits ship you thinner 14-gauge. That extra weight is what keeps a pit flat and true instead of warping after a few hot burns.

It measures about 27.9 by 25.5 inches across the top, roomy enough for a real fire with a few chairs pulled up close. Full dimensions are in the product photos.
